|Scarlett O’Hara (Glasscock-Falk 1956). Lives up to her name with the vigor and vivacious, bright scarlet-red flowers. Fragrant, and have nicely rounded petals, large golden yellow anthers with yellow filaments, green carpels and salmon pink styles, and a pink staminodal disc. Outstanding plant with its vigor and strong stems.
|Old Faithful (Glasscock-Falk 1964). Hybrid; a very double dark-red, with 110 cm tall stems and flowering late in the season.
L’Eclatante (Calot 1860). a red double. Flowering in the midseason. A light fragrance. Stems are 90 cm of length.
Christmas Holiday (Wild 1983). Hybrid; a single bright red flower. Marked by its vivid big flower leaves. One flower per strong, straight stem. Flowering early season. Promising strong flower.
America (Rudolph 1976). A large single hybrid of a brilliant scarlet, a hue with great carrying power in the landscape. Firm straight stems of 90 cm length with a flower on every stem. Flowering early midseason. A beautiful, healthy peony with good cutting qualities.
